Dr. Lauren K. Young

Dr. Young grew up in Southern, NJ. She graduated with honors from Saint Joseph’s University, earning her Bachelors of Science in Biology and minor in Philosophy. She completed her medical education at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, where she graduated with Distinction in Academics.

She then went on to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at Brown University. At Brown, she received the Chief Residents’ Award for outstanding patient care and contributions to the residency program.

Dr. Young served as Chief Fellow during her Fellowship training in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Montefiore Einstein Comprehensive Cancer Center in NY. During fellowship, her research focused primarily on lung cancer and immunotherapy.

Dr. Young is excited to return to the Philadelphia area to start her career at a place she considers home and to serve the community she grew up in. Her priorities are to provide compassionate and cutting edge/up to date care with a patient-centered approach. She welcomes new patients to her practice!
